Entire bed frame built from nice-sized hand-peeled aspen logs. Full log side rails (no metal side rails) for added strength and to keep the rustic look a log bed was meant to have. Rough cut lumber mattress supports to give your mattress the support it needs. Sturdy 100% mortise & tenon construction (including the mattress supports) meaning each log end is tenoned to fit inside a hole drilled in an adjoining log and then bolted together.

Trimmed with hand-peeled aspen log trim on the sides and log drawer handles.

Beautiful solid wood with a heavy 4-8" thick top and beautiful hand-peeled, strong aspen supports. Full of character to match our other log furniture. Comes already finished with an anti-checking oil based finish, specifically made for the tripod table. It is a different finish for the strict purpose of preserving the quality of the tripod tabletop.
